PSYCHOLOGY WEEK 2026 “Psychological roots: understanding the origin of human well-being”
Psychology Week 2026 represents an academic, human and educational meeting space that seeks to promote reflection on the importance of mental health, emotional well-being and the impact of psychology in today's society.
Under the theme “Psychological Roots: Understanding the Origin of Human Well-being,” this academic conference aims to recognize that holistic well-being stems from multiple dimensions: emotional, familial, social, cultural, and psychological. Understanding our emotional and behavioral roots allows us to develop tools to face current challenges and build a more conscious, empathetic, and healthy society.
In a context where social, academic, and personal demands increasingly affect the mental health of children, young people, and adults, celebrating Psychology Week takes on significant importance. It allows us to create spaces for dialogue, learning, and awareness-raising about issues that directly impact daily life and human development.
This week, the graduating class of 2023 will be holding various academic, recreational, and educational activities, including:
• Conferences and educational talks.
• Interactive workshops on mental health and emotional well-being.
• Student integration activities.
• Activities focused on self-care and emotional management.
• Spaces for reflection on the role of the psychologist in today's society.
• Recreational and cultural activities aimed at strengthening overall well-being.
These activities seek to strengthen the meaningful learning of our students, promote active participation and reaffirm the importance of psychology as a science and profession committed to human well-being.
As a program, we celebrate this week with pride, recognizing the value of training future professionals capable of understanding, supporting, and positively transforming people's lives from an ethical, human, and empathetic perspective.
“Understanding our emotional roots allows us to build well-being, resilience, and humanity.”
