The official opening of the Institutional Self-Assessment Process took place on September 6, 2021, when the rector, José Alberto Nieto Rojas, made employees aware of the importance of the commitment of the entire community in the institutional reaccreditation process. .

At the meeting, which took place in person and online, the rector emphasized the importance of all of us "wearing our shirts" in this process that, although it was beginning, had already gone a long way back, when drafting and deliver the Compliance Report of the Institutional Improvement Plan 2012 – 2017.

"I invite you to carry out the evaluation as a whole, integrating ourselves as the UMECIT family, which has been demonstrated since the beginning of the institution, within the framework of the Cyberhumanist curricular educational model" Nieto Rojas pointed out.

In the same vein, the General Vice Chancellor, Claudia Rueda Ossa, thanked all the support from the different instances in drafting the compliance report, and made the Self-Assessment Committee available to employees.

In this way, the university community was invited to work more united than ever, with ethics, loyalty and commitment, in favor of institutional reaccreditation.
