As part of its commitment to a comprehensive and contextualized education, the University developed an academic panel on workplace violence, organized by students of the Bachelor's Degree in Criminalistics and Forensic Sciences.
This outreach activity, conceived from the subject of Victimology, Its main objective was to analyze the dynamics of power, risk and vulnerability present in contemporary work environments, promoting critical reflection from a forensic and ethical perspective.
The panel was conducted under the guidance of the master's degree holder Jill Manuel, who strategically guided the development of the academic space, fostering a scenario of dialogue and meaningful learning.
The event also included the participation of the invited teachers. Mario Brathwaite and Alexis Prescott, who provided a specialized and critical view on the problem of workplace violence, enriching the students' training with practical tools and applied knowledge.
This type of initiative allows future professionals to face real-life situations, strengthening their analytical, ethical, and technical skills, which are fundamental to their performance in the field of criminalistics and forensic science.
