Conference: Mental Health and Emotion Management
The Metropolitan University of Education, Science and Technology- UMECIT- wants to highlight the support work carried out within the institution by the Coordination of Psychology and the Psychological Office, as part of the process in the mental and emotional stability of our teachers, who are the fundamental part in the training of students, to provide a quality education. This is part of the teacher training school for the start of classes, in order to strengthen teamwork. On February 25, 2022, an update was carried out through the Padre Fernando Guardia Jaén, sj, Integral Bilingual Training Center, with the conference: "Mental Health and Emotion Management"
This work was given as support by the University, having a link with Meduca in our processes, providing support to approximately 100 teachers, which was carried out at the Panama and La Chorrera campuses. We are faithful believers that part of our commitment to all the teaching staff in the country is to provide them with strategies for self-management of emotions and that they feel comfortable in their processes.
In the same way, we reiterate to the general public the importance of taking care of our Mental Health and that at UMECIT we are at the forefront of it. Therefore, we invite you to visit our office where the doors will always be open, to provide you with little tips that will help you keep your spirits up and be able to achieve all the goals and dreams that you set for yourself.
