Seafarer's Week in Panama
In a country whose greatest asset is the Panama Canal and which is characterized by its spirit of service, it is essential to recognize the importance of maritime and logistics professionals for national development. For this reason, every year Seafarers' Week is organized, and this time it will be from July 10 to 15, 2023.
During this celebration, which coincides with the acts of veneration of the Virgen del Carmen, patron saint of seafarers, we seek to highlight the relevance of these professionals in our society.
Seafarers' Week is an opportunity to recognize their hard work, dedication and contribution to the growth of the country.
As a University, we are committed to bringing our students closer to the current logistics, maritime and port reality of Panama. The Seafarer's Week is part of our annual activities and its main objective is to provide enriching experiences that promote the personal and professional growth of our students.
During this week, we will feature a variety of events and activities designed to promote knowledge, exchange of ideas and hands-on learning. Our students will have the opportunity to interact with industry experts, participate in conferences, workshops and visits to maritime and port facilities.
In addition, we will highlight the importance of marine sustainability and environmental protection, raising awareness about the preservation of our oceans and natural resources.
Join us in this celebration and discover the exciting opportunities that await our future maritime and logistics professionals.
Be part of Seafarers' Week and be part of the future of Panama's maritime development!
