4th Conference on Teaching Innovation in the Classroom

Issue: 

"The Profile of the Teacher in the Digital Age: Changes and Transformations"

The Metropolitan University of Education, Science and Technology -UMECIT, assumes with great commitment the academic development of its human talent, as the core axis to successfully implement its Neociberhumanist Curricular Educational model and within this framework, training and updating spaces have been generated, together with to self-training, which allow our House of Studies, to have teachers who incorporate innovative teaching strategies that are of interest to the educational community in general.

By virtue of this, this 4th Conference on Teaching Innovation in the Classroom aims to create an academic space to share these experiences and innovative teaching experiences, in correspondence with the new challenges of education in an era where technology has generated and will continue to generate decisive changes. . 

The event will have three (3) large discussion centers: 

  • The teacher of today, a prospective look at the change in higher education.
  • Change as a tool that facilitates learning in higher education.
  • Teaching experience compared to hybrid models of teaching and learning.


Discussion nuclei and thematic areas:

1. The Teacher of today: His role in the changes and transformations of Higher Education

  • The role of the teacher as a mediator of learning in the processes of change.
  • Virtual resources and the changes they generate in the way of teaching.
  • Learning to unlearn, an innovative experience.
  • Development of models, prototypes, systems, tutorials based on technological tools (ICT)

2. Change as a tool that facilitates learning in higher education.

3. Teaching experience against hybrid models of teaching and learning.
