As part of its educational innovation and digital transformation strategy, UMECIT developed an academic visit to the Fab Lab with students from the Faculty of Economic and Administrative Sciences, Veneto Campus, belonging to the Saturday and evening sessions.
During the tour, participants learned about the facilities, tools, equipment and technologies available at the Fab Lab, as well as their different applications for the development of projects and academic activities.
Furthermore, they had the opportunity to learn through hands-on experience and explore alternatives for creating content and activities that can later be incorporated into their courses. This experience will strengthen the connection between the Fab Lab and the different programs within the Faculty, bringing new tools and methodologies to the learning environment.
The initiative represents an opportunity for students to connect the knowledge acquired in the classroom with practical experiences, enhancing creativity, innovation, technological skills and the ability to develop solutions applied to different academic and professional contexts.
The activity was accompanied by the Faculty's academic coordinator, Katherine Moreno, and teachers from the institution, who guided the students during this approach to the innovation and digital fabrication ecosystem of UMECIT.
