Within the framework of the cooperation agreement between the Metropolitan University of Education, Science and Technology -UMECIT- and the Specialized Higher Technical Institute (ITSE), a meeting was held with entrepreneurial students and graduates of ITSE, with the purpose of presenting the Sustainable Entrepreneurship Certification System (SCES-UMECIT).

This initiative, promoted by UMECIT, seeks to support, evaluate and strengthen ventures from a sustainability perspective, providing entrepreneurs with tools that allow them to better understand the reality of their businesses, identify strengths and opportunities for improvement, and move towards more sustainable and strengthened entrepreneurship models.

The meeting was coordinated with Professor Shalima Murillo, a teacher-researcher at the ITSE Business School, whose collaboration made it possible to create this space for exchange with students and graduates who are currently developing entrepreneurial initiatives.

During the event, the purpose of SCES-UMECIT was presented, along with the opportunities this system offers to support entrepreneurs in analyzing and strengthening their projects, promoting a vision focused on sustainability and the growth of their initiatives.

The National Directorate of Extension and Social Linkage and the Entrepreneurship Coordination of UMECIT reaffirm their commitment to continue building strategic alliances that connect academia with the real needs of entrepreneurs and communities.

These collaborative spaces contribute to generating support, knowledge and opportunities, strengthening initiatives with the potential to become sustainable projects with a greater impact on their environment.
