Legal professionals will meet at UMECIT to analyze the phases of mixed civil prosecution by hearing

In commemoration of Lawyer's Day, UMECIT Chitré Campus announces the Dinner Conference entitled "The Phases of Mixed Civil Proceedings by Hearing," an academic and professional event that will bring together students, graduates, lawyers, and professionals linked to the legal field.

The event will take place on August 14, 2026, starting at 6:30 pm, at the Hotel Versalles in the city of Chitré and will feature the participation of the distinguished Panamanian jurist, Licdo. Boris Barrios, recognized for his contributions to the development and analysis of procedural law in Panama.

During his keynote address, the specialist will address the transformations of the civil procedural system and develop the different stages of the mixed model by hearings, delving into fundamental aspects such as orality, the presentation and evaluation of evidence, as well as the litigation techniques required by the modern practice of the legal profession.

This activity represents a valuable professional development opportunity, allowing participants to strengthen their knowledge of current challenges and trends in civil procedural law.
