The Metropolitan University of Education, Science and Technology -UMECIT- highlights the fundamental role of emotional education in the comprehensive development of people. The recent Conference on Emotional Education, held in collaboration with the Chile Leadership Foundation, reaffirmed the institution's commitment to this crucial aspect of human growth.
Directed by Arnaldo Canales, Executive Director of the Chile Leadership Foundation, the conference, held on October 11, was an opportunity for students, administrative staff and teachers from various disciplines to reflect on the importance of emotional competencies in the educational process. The initiative seeks to encourage debate and provide practical tools to implement emotional education programs at the University, in line with the objective of strengthening the development of emotional competencies as an essential element of human growth.
Arnaldo Canales is a leader in Latin America with extensive experience in the training and development of innovative educational programs that focus on the cultivation of emotional skills in children, young people at social risk and adults, and has dedicated more than 20 years of his career to promote laws on emotional education in different countries.
