An environmental awareness day promoted a culture of recycling at the Veneto B headquarters

In commemoration of International Recycling Day, second-semester students of the Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Management held an environmental awareness day at the Veneto B campus, with the purpose of strengthening the culture of sustainability and promoting responsible practices within the university community.

The activity became a dynamic and interactive space where future environmental managers shared knowledge about the importance of recycling and proper waste management, using playful dynamics, educational games and participatory activities that allowed the active involvement of students, teachers and collaborators.

During the event, the organizers provided practical training and valuable information on the environmental impact of our daily actions, emphasizing the importance of applying the three Rs: reduce, reuse, and recycle. Topics covered included proper waste separation, the use of recyclable materials, and individual contributions to environmental protection.

Participants had the opportunity to resolve concerns, exchange experiences, and learn how small changes in their daily habits can generate a positive impact on the conservation of natural resources and the protection of the planet.

This initiative reaffirms the students' commitment to their professional training and demonstrates the fundamental role that environmental education plays in building a more conscious, participatory, and sustainable society.

UMECIT continues to promote activities that foster environmental responsibility and the development of leaders committed to preserving the environment, thus strengthening its mission to contribute to the well-being of communities and the sustainable development of the country.
