The 3rd Occupational Safety and Health Conference brings together 250 students around the culture of prevention

In commemoration of World Day for Safety and Health at Work, UMECIT celebrated the III Occupational Safety and Health Conference on April 25, consolidating itself as a high-impact academic event that brought together 250 students from various faculties.

The event featured eight national and international speakers, including representatives from the International Labour Organization, who shared updated knowledge, best practices and global regulations aimed at strengthening workplace well-being and the culture of prevention.

As part of the experience, an information booth fair was held where companies and entities in the sector presented tools, specialized services and opportunities for professional development, allowing students to link academic theory with practice in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

This activity reaffirms UMECIT's commitment to the comprehensive education of its students, promoting spaces that strengthen preventive awareness and prepare future professionals to face the challenges of the work environment with responsibility and knowledge.
