Today, in an emotional ceremony held in the Marta Matamoros Hall, the graduation of the Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health took place in collaboration with the Panamanian Institute of Labor Studies (IPEL), the Ministry of Labor and Labor Development, and UMECIT.
This significant event had the distinguished presence of the Vice Minister of Labor, His Excellency Fernando Castillero Espino, as well as the Vice Minister of Labor and Labor Development, Magíster Román Gordón. Also present were the Director of the IPEL, Magister Teresa Martínez de Irving, the Director of Extension, Ricaurte Rodríguez, and other prominent representatives of continuing education.
The main objective of this training was the preparation of highly competent professionals, capable of working in the field of Occupational Health. These professionals are equipped to intervene in labor actions in search of improving the health conditions and quality of life of people, while boosting the productivity of companies.
