As part of their academic training, students of the Bachelor of Accounting, Saturday day group, participated in an academic tour to the Miraflores Locks of the Panama Canal, an experience designed to strengthen the knowledge acquired in the subject Administration II through the direct observation of an organization recognized for its high standards of management and efficiency.

During the visit, participants learned about the operational and administrative functioning of one of the world's most important engineering works, analyzing how the functions of planning, organization, direction and control are integrated to ensure a safe, efficient and world-class operation.

The experience allowed for the connection of theory with practice, favoring the analysis of organizational processes and strengthening essential skills such as critical thinking, strategic vision and decision making, fundamental skills for professional practice in the areas of administration and accounting.

Furthermore, the tour provided students with a broader perspective on the importance of efficient management in high-impact national and international organizations, motivating them to understand the value of planning and continuous improvement as pillars of business success.
