UMECIT's Faculty of Humanities successfully concludes English Week 2026

The Faculty of Humanities at UMECIT held the closing ceremony of English Week 2026, under the motto «"English Language: Passport to the World", an initiative that brought together students from the Bachelor's Degree in English, Bachelor's Degree in Physical Education and Personal Training and Bachelor's Degree in Preschool Education.

The objective of the activity was to promote the use of English as a second language and a global communication tool, through academic, cultural, artistic and interactive experiences that strengthened the communicative skills, creativity and collaborative work of future education professionals.

One of the highlights was the dynamic «"Passport to the World"», The project was proposed by an English major student. Each participant received a symbolic passport with which they earned stamps by communicating in English, participating in challenges, visiting cultural stations, and correctly answering different questions, with the student with the highest participation receiving a prize.

The program included exhibits on English-speaking countries, talent shows, pronunciation competitions, vocabulary games, sentence building, and collaborative activities that allowed attendees to experience a meaningful and dynamic learning experience.

With this initiative, the Faculty of Humanities reaffirms its commitment to comprehensive and innovative training, promoting the mastery of the English language as an essential skill for the academic, professional and international performance of its students.
