Recently, the David UMECIT headquarters hosted an immersive academic experience developed in the subject Quality of Patient Care in Health, under the direction of Professor Litza Saldaña.

The activity incorporated EON-XR as a technological resource to present and analyze different scenarios related to Medical Records at the hospital level, allowing students to approach situations that are part of professional practice in the field of health care.

Through various missions designed as real work situations, the students faced scenarios related to the reception and admission of patients during long waiting times, user care through clear and understandable language, verification of identity and correction of data, protection of confidentiality in response to requests from family members, and the care of an upset patient through role-playing.

In each scenario, participants had to analyze different alternatives, make decisions, and reflect on how their actions might impact fundamental aspects such as safety, satisfaction, and patient rights.

The integration of EON-XR made it possible to transform theoretical content of the subject into active and contextualized experiences, promoting more dynamic participation and bringing students closer to situations they might face in their future professional environment.

This experience also demonstrates the potential of immersive technologies as tools to strengthen teaching and learning processes, facilitating practice, decision-making, and the development of skills in controlled and meaningful environments.
