Call for Research Seedbeds 2024

The Research, Innovation and Postgraduate Directorate invites all undergraduate students and teachers to participate in this call.

Discover the Research Seedbeds where undergraduate students immerse themselves in the development of research skills, guided by experts, to generate projects that promote scientific culture and connect students with the needs of the context.

What are the RESEARCH SEEDS at UMECIT?

The research incubators are made up of undergraduate students interested in receiving training for the development of research skills, abilities and competencies, as well as socializing the products that are generated from their activity, through team strategies and disciplinary association.

From the seedbed space, research project initiatives are developed that contribute to the promotion of a scientific culture and the connection of the student with the needs of the context, from their area of academic training.

The hotbed is a space guided by an experienced researcher, who contributes to the support and strengthening of the research carried out by its members and other activities linked to science.

Students and teachers who are part of the research hotbeds receive benefits in accordance with what is established in the Institutional Research Incentives Program, prior approval and management of the Directorate of Research, Innovation and Postgraduate Studies.
