The Metropolitan University of Education, Science and Technology - UMECIT - and the company Serviestiba, SA signed a technical, professional and cultural cooperation agreement in different areas, such as: professional practice, social work, research, updating or training activities.
Within the framework of the agreement, actions will be promoted in which the teachers and students of this House of Studies contribute to the professional and social development of the collaborators of this organization.
SERVIESTIBA, SA is a company established in 2015 and since its foundation, it has become a fundamental pillar for the transit of merchandise through its terminals in the ports of Balboa and Cristobal. Within its gear, it maintains professionals from different areas that impart their knowledge and experience to develop the daily activities required in this area. In turn, this company invests resources and time in the development of social activities for the benefit of the community, as well as collaboration with different institutions and foundations such as the Big Dreams Need Hope Foundation (Bideh).
The agreement also states that both parties must cooperate in specific consultancy programs related to topics of interest; facilitate the participation of SERVIESTIBA, SA workers in seminars and other complementary programs, with academic validity of the careers and programs in which they are enrolled in UMECIT approved by CTDA, as well as enable workers to study undergraduate programs, degree and postgraduate in the various careers that it maintains in its educational plan.
Our House of Studies will grant workers a discount on the monthly payments of the different technical careers and/or Bachelor's, Specializations, Master's or other study plans, likewise, a discount on care and treatment will be given to family members within the first degree of consanguinity of the workers in the Physiotherapy Specialty Center.
Likewise, UMECIT will give a discount on the monthly payment to relatives within the first degree of consanguinity of THE COMPANY workers, at the International Bilingual Institute (IBI). Enrollment, degree rights and other expenses will be paid by the student.
Our House of Studies extends the discount for relatives in the first degree of consanguinity.
