Academic and scientific cooperation agreement with CTES

The Metropolitan University of Education, Science and Technology (UMECIT) and the Sapienza Higher Education Technology Corporation (CTES) have signed a collaboration agreement with the aim of strengthening higher education in Colombia.

This agreement establishes the bases for scientific, research and academic cooperation, promoting the exchange of students and teachers, as well as strengthening the social projection of both institutions. In addition, it will allow the offering of distance (virtual) programs in Colombia, expanding access to quality education with the support of UMECIT.

The agreement, signed in a formal ceremony, was attended by the Rector of UMECIT, Dr. José Alberto Nieto Rojas, accompanied by Dr. Rosa Idali Castañeda González, legal advisor to the University. On behalf of CTES, Dr. Javier Barrera and his team were present, who highlighted the importance of this alliance for academic development and inter-institutional cooperation.

With this alliance, both institutions reaffirm their commitment to educational excellence and the promotion of innovative initiatives that contribute to the professional and social development of their academic communities.
