Graduation Ceremony

The graduation ceremony is a significant event of great importance for the Metropolitan University of Education, Science and Technology -UMECIT-, since it represents the recognition and celebration of the academic achievements of the students, as well as the commitment and effort they have dedicated to complete their studies.

Our School values and supports the importance of this event, which highlights the successful completion of an important chapter in the lives of the graduates and through the graduation ceremony, highlights the hard work, dedication and perseverance of the students, as well as the support and collaboration of their families and the educational community in general.

UMECIT is proud to be part of this important milestone in the lives of the graduates and continues to work to make the graduation ceremony a special and memorable moment that reinforces the students' sense of belonging and pride and promotes academic excellence in the educational community.

  • For those graduates who are in good standing with the University, we invite you to confirm your attendance to the ceremony through the links provided for each location.
  • The period for registration and confirmation of attendance to the graduation ceremonies (protocol act) will be from June 29 to August 3, 2023. 
  • It is important to note that anyone wishing to participate in the graduation ceremony must be approved as a graduate on the Cibersity platform.
  • As of August 10 of this year, invitation cards and graduate instructions will be sent to those who have confirmed their attendance.
  • Payment for the gowns must be made directly to the treasury department of the venue where you will be attending the ceremony.
  • If you are not yet financially in good standing, you should contact the cartera@umecit.edu.pa, before filling out your confirmation for the ceremony, otherwise your confirmation registration will be cancelled.
