Peer visit for the accreditation of the Bachelor's Degree in Physiotherapy

Saturday, March 9, 2024 marks a significant milestone for UMECIT by successfully concluding the accreditation process for the Bachelor of Physiotherapy. For three days, we received the distinguished presence of outstanding peer evaluators in our House of Studies: Doctors Teresa de Jesús Noriega Velásquez and Dr. Comini Noriega, international peers, and Dr. Danilo Martínez Millán, national representative. We deeply appreciate your dedication, along with Dr. Doris Villalaz, CONEAUPA technician, who accompanied us during this crucial evaluation.

The evaluators not only explored the academic and administrative part, but also the playing field at UMECIT FC, immersing themselves in the practical process of the Physiotherapy students. They highlighted the innovative technology, especially the Catapult platform.

The directors presented their areas with their strengths, providing a comprehensive view of the program. In addition, the evaluators met with teachers, students, collaborators, employers and graduates, obtaining a 360 view of our University's program.

As part of the visit, they explored our advanced Physiotherapy laboratory, learning first-hand about the cutting-edge technology we offer.

This evaluation and accreditation process reflects our unwavering commitment to educational quality and the comprehensive training of our future physical therapists. We are excited to share this achievement that strengthens our position as a reference in the teaching of Physiotherapy.

Thank you all for your dedication and contribution!
