The university community of UMECIT Chitré Campus actively participated in the Azuero 2026 Relay for Life, an initiative of the Friends of Children with Leukemia and Cancer Foundation (FANLYC), held on Sunday, August 2nd at the Azuero International Fairgrounds, under the motto "We are all one".

Through their participation, students, teachers, and members of the university community reaffirmed their commitment to children and to those causes that generate a positive impact on our society.

This day also represents an opportunity to take university outreach beyond the classroom, promoting values such as solidarity, empathy, and social commitment.

From UMECIT Chitré Campus, we celebrate the opportunity to join forces with initiatives that remind us that, when we work together, we can contribute to building a more humane, supportive, and conscious society.
