Within the framework of the Commemoration of Bible Week, the Metropolitan University of Education, Science and Technology -UMECIT-, opens the call for members of its university community who wish to prepare to receive the sacraments of First Communion and Confirmation.

This initiative offers an opportunity to deepen one's faith, strengthen personal commitment, and undergo a process of preparation that allows for a deeper understanding of the meaning of these sacraments. Through this accompaniment, the aim is to foster a space for reflection and spiritual growth for those who wish to take this step in their lives.

Sacramental preparation is a process that invites one to learn about, reflect on, and responsibly embrace the meaning of receiving these sacraments. Therefore, this initiative seeks to facilitate the university community's participation in a formation and accompaniment experience aligned with this purpose.

Registration will be open until November 7, 2026. As part of the requirements to participate in the preparation process, you must present the document that certifies Baptism in the Catholic Church.

With this initiative, UMECIT, through the University Welfare Program, reaffirms its interest in promoting spaces of support that address the human and spiritual dimensions of its community, recognizing their importance in integral development and in the different experiences that are part of university life.
