The Metropolitan University of Education, Science and Technology (UMECIT) and Medsport have signed a strategic alliance for training in sports recovery, combining theoretical and practical training with the participation of international specialists.
The first approach to this collaboration was with the participation of former World Cup footballer Maxi Rodríguez, who gave a motivational talk about his career, highlighting the importance of discipline and education in a sports career. During the conversation, Rodríguez shared his experience on how he balanced his studies and professional football, highlighting that he never stopped preparing himself academically despite the demands of the sport.
This event served as a prelude to the training sessions offered by specialists from Spain and Argentina, including physiotherapists and a doctor, who will provide training in sports recovery. The program will include a theoretical session in the classroom and a practical session on the field, where the correct care of injured players will be taught in real time, from bandages to first aid on the field.
The alliance between UMECIT and Medsport reinforces the commitment of both institutions to professional development in the sports field, promoting the updating of knowledge in injury prevention and recovery.
