The Metropolitan University of Education, Science and Technology (UMECIT) and the San Antonio RL Multiple Services Cooperative have signed a framework agreement for institutional cooperation, with the aim of establishing bases for technical, scientific and cultural collaboration between both entities.
The signing of the agreement, which took place on Tuesday, January 28, was attended by authorities from both institutions. Representing UMECIT were: Dr. Sandra Ramos, Academic Director; the Mr. Ricardo Camarena, Director of Planning; the Lic. Miriam Agudelo Trujillo, Coordinator of the David headquarters; Mgtr. Widad Gonzalez, Coordinator of Research, Outreach and Graduate Studies, and the Lic. Wendy Nunez, teacher.
On behalf of the San Antonio RL Multiple Services Cooperative, the following participated: Prof. Jose Serrano Vinda, Chairman of the Board of Directors; Licda. Yamilka Alexander, Treasurer; the Mr. Isaul Miranda, Secretary; the Mr. Jose Angel Pineda, General Manager, and the Lic. Katherine Neira, Marketing Director.
This agreement opens new opportunities in key areas such as professional training, student internships, social work, joint research and academic and cultural exchange, strengthening institutional growth and social impact.
UMECIT reaffirms its commitment to the academic excellence and inter-institutional cooperation, promoting initiatives that contribute to the development and well-being of Panamanian society.
