UMECIT strengthens its preventive culture with training at its Veneto B headquarters.

In the framework of the commemoration of the International Day for Safety and Health at Work, the Metropolitan University of Education, Science and Technology -UMECIT-, through the Occupational Health and Safety degree, developed a series of training at the Veneto B headquarters, aimed at students, teachers and administrative staff.

These days had as main objective promote a preventive culture in academic and work environments, promoting care, shared responsibility, and collective well-being.

During the activities, key topics were addressed such as:

  • Evacuation routes and meeting points

  • Procedures in case of earthquakes and fires

  • Workshops of basic first aid

  • Risk awareness psychosocial such as stress, anxiety and emotional overload

The importance of the use of the student card as an identification and security tool on and off campus. The day concluded with an interactive talk on emergency numbers, internal protocols and prevention recommendations.

These trainings not only reinforced the technical knowledge of the students of the Occupational Health and Safety career, but also strengthened their role as multiplying agents of the culture of prevention, reaffirming UMECIT's commitment to professional training comprehensive, humane and oriented towards responsible action.
