UMECIT Pa'lante with its community

This Saturday @UMECIT began the second stage of the Pa ´Lante Project with your Community, at the International Bilingual Institute (IBI), which is carried out in partnership with the Moverse Foundation. The objective is to impact vulnerable communities from the academy through social entrepreneurship, which allows them to improve their environment in a positive way.

The event was attended by the rector Dr. José Alberto Nieto, who expressed to the young people that the university offers this space so that they can be agents of personal and collective change. Likewise, Valeria Maduro and Rita Solis, President and Vice President of the Moverse Foundation; Ana Marcela Arevalo Director of IBI; on behalf of UMECIT Shanida Welsh, Coordinator of the Entrepreneurship Center, Massiel Morales Coordinator of the Psychology and Social Work Degree, Carlos Martínez, Coordinator of Agreements and Jannis Briceño, Coordinator of University Well-being, as well as volunteers of this commendable project.

Once again, UMECIT highlights the benefits of its Neo-Cyberhumanist Curricular Model and makes available to the community what is required so that through education we continue to Open Doors and Transform Lives
