UMECIT promotes professional development and strengthens ties with its graduates
The training doesn't end with a degree: at UMECIT, the connection continues.
As part of its commitment to ongoing professional development and support for its graduates, the Metropolitan University of Education, Science and Technology (UMECIT), through its Extension and Social Outreach Department and the Graduate Coordination Office, held the training course “Electronic Signature and Technological Guidance in the Use of Public Registry Web Services” on September 23.
The event was held in partnership with the National Bar Association of Panama, through the Commission on Notarial and Registry Law and the Commission on Information Technology Law and New Technologies, and included the participation of the Public Registry of Panama.
The meeting provided participants with an opportunity to update their knowledge on technological tools and services directly applicable to professional practice, especially for graduates in Law and Political Science, as well as for professionals and special guests.
This initiative also strengthened the connection between academia and the professional world, creating spaces where graduates can stay up-to-date and expand their knowledge in the face of changes and new tools that arise in the practice of their profession.
New opportunities to continue learning
As part of this outreach strategy, the UMECIT Directorate of Master's and Postgraduate Studies participated in the event to present the University's academic offerings of master's degrees and specializations to graduates and special guests.
In this way, the meeting also became an opportunity to learn about alternatives for academic continuity and to continue strengthening professional skills.
