UMECIT, IBI, MITRADEL, UN Women and EPIC united for gender equality and the wage gap

UMECIT, the International Bilingual Institute, the Ministry of Labor and Workforce Development, UN Women and EPIC have come together with the firm purpose of advancing towards the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals related to gender equality and the creation of strategic alliances. 

This collaboration marks the beginning of a series of actions designed to raise awareness among young people about the importance of promoting equal pay between women and men, with the aim of reducing the gender gap and building a more equitable society, where everyone has equal opportunities. regardless of your gender.

It is essential to highlight the traceability of the established agreements, especially with the Ministry of Labor and the IBI. This action is fully integrated into the Work Plan for the year 2023.

The activity will be carried out in a hybrid manner, combining a face-to-face modality from the facilities of the International Bilingual Institute, where high school students will be sensitized, preparing them for their future insertion into the workforce. 

In addition, a virtual modality will be offered for all our UMECIT students at all locations. This aligns perfectly with our mission of training professionals who are socially committed and aware of the challenges of the real environment that surrounds them.
