Umecit – University in Panama

UMECIT celebrated the XV Student Research Conference at the Panama, Chitre, Santiago, and David headquarters

89 research papers developed in the classroom were presented in poster and oral mode by a total of 580 undergraduate students from the different faculties. Hand in hand with the teachers, the formative investigations that demonstrate compliance with our Neo-cyberhumanist curricular educational model were exposed in an environment of creativity and knowledge.

This activity shows the articulation of the substantive functions and allows to show the application of the knowledge and investigative skills that the students acquire from the subjects and that is also deepened with the development of an article that is published in the formative research journal Semilla Científica.

Invited teachers also contribute their knowledge to evaluate, with qualitative criteria, each of the works presented and allow us to provide feedback on the experience and select the best projects that will represent our House of Studies, in the National Scientific Initiation Conference that will be held next month of October, under the auspices of the National Secretariat of Science and Technology of Panama.

We highlight the works selected by campus and congratulate all our students and teachers for their efforts in carrying out this excellent activity, which has become a true investigative fair.
