As part of its innovation and digital transformation strategy, the Metropolitan University of Education, Science and Technology (UMECIT) developed a training day aimed at teachers from all its programs on the use of EON-XR, an immersive learning platform that integrates augmented reality, virtual reality and 3D resources.

During the activity, participants learned about the platform's essential functionalities, explored immersive environments, and completed practical exercises to create and adapt educational experiences related to the subjects they teach. The workshop allowed them to identify opportunities to represent complex processes, objects, scenarios, and concepts in a visual and interactive way. EON-XR strengthens innovative teaching and hands-on learning across all disciplines.

With this training, UMECIT reaffirms its commitment to the continuous training of its faculty and to higher education connected with the challenges of Industry 4.0; the knowledge acquired will be progressively incorporated into classroom experiences to enrich the teaching and learning process.
