The Metropolitan University of Education, Science and Technology -UMECIT- invites its entire university community to be part of the team of volunteers that will support the Panama City Marathon 2026.
The call is open to students, teachers, administrative staff, graduates and other members of the UMECIT community who wish to experience this international competition from within, contribute their energy and proudly represent our University.
A volunteering program developed in different stages
Participation is not limited to race day. Volunteering includes pre-race preparation, coordination, and organization activities, in addition to the operational duties assigned for Sunday, September 20th.
Those selected will be able to assist with logistics and staffing hydration stations. Dates, times, locations, and responsibilities for each stage will be communicated later.
Main information
Participants will receive snacks and hydration during the corresponding day, recognition for their participation and accreditation of the hours completed in the UMECIT Hands that Transform volunteer program.
