On March 16, students and teachers of Law and Occupational Safety and Health A 2022 at UMECIT Santiago headquarters immersed themselves in an enriching Training Seminar focused on citizen participation and the defense of the ethical and democratic principles fundamental for a just society and equitable.
During this day, we had the privilege of having the valuable guidance of officials from the Electoral General Prosecutor's Office and the Ombudsman's Office, whose contribution was significant to enrich the debate and promote civic engagement among our students and teachers. We sincerely appreciate your participation and support of this initiative, which seeks to strengthen ties between academia and key institutions in promoting citizen participation and respect for fundamental rights.
We extend our special recognition to Ms. Adalgiza Meneses, Director of the Veraguas Penal System, for her invaluable support and management for the successful completion of this Training Seminar. Their commitment to education and the development of educational opportunities in our territory is truly inspiring.
At UMECIT Santiago, we are committed to the comprehensive training of our students and to the promotion of active and conscious citizenship. This Training Seminar is just the beginning of our continued commitment to ethics, democracy and citizen participation in our educational community and beyond.
