In the month of June, UMECIT 2023 Psychology Week was celebrated within the framework of the Psychologist's Day in Panama, which is commemorated on June 22 of each year. As every year, the senior year groups organized the psychology week and many of them, students of the La Chorrera headquarters, developed different seminars, workshops, spaces of coexistence such as film forums, focused on learning with various topics for students and the entire university community.

Among them, emotional intelligence, mental health, ADHD, teamwork, among many other topics. As psychology is not only learned and practiced in the auditoriums, extra-mural activities were also carried out, including visits to schools, such as the Prince of Peace Bilingual School, the Minnesota State School and communities in La Chorrera. Finally, on June 24, the closing of the UMECIT 2023 Psychology Week was held at the La Chorrera headquarters, where the results of the self-evaluation report of the Bachelor's Degree in General Psychology were disclosed to the university community with a result of 99.6% compliance, which was happily accepted by the students.

In addition, educational and reinforcement lectures were given to all university students. There was a presentation of a stand with different topics of psychology and recognition of teachers. 

Undoubtedly, the students of the 2020 group, both evening and Saturday, have left an important mark this year and the integration of all Psychology students projects great expectations to bring to the Panamanian society significant contributions for the improvement of the approach to mental health in the country.
