Santiago headquarters strengthens inter-institutional coordination with the district mayor's office

The Santiago branch of UMECIT, through its Research and Extension departments, held a working meeting with the district mayor, engineer Eric Jaén, with the purpose of strengthening inter-institutional collaboration for the benefit of the communities.

During the meeting, both parties emphasized the importance of consolidating strategic alliances to develop joint initiatives aimed at the social, academic, and community progress of the district. In this regard, they stressed the need to strengthen cooperation to facilitate the implementation of initiatives with a direct impact on the population.

Furthermore, various actions undertaken by the research team were reviewed, recognizing their contribution to generating knowledge applied to the needs of the community. These initiatives form a fundamental basis for developing projects that respond appropriately and sustainably to local problems.

Similarly, they discussed the progress in managing inter-institutional agreements that both entities are promoting, with a view to formalizing spaces for collaboration that strengthen joint work in strategic areas for the development of the district.
