The Bachelor's Degree in Physiotherapy obtains the maximum accreditation for 6 years
The Bachelor's Degree in Physiotherapy has achieved the highest accreditation, granted by the National Council for University Evaluation and Accreditation -CONEAUPA-, established in resolution No. 07 of April 11, 2024, for a period of 6 years.
This achievement is the result of the commitment to educational excellence, evidenced through the self-assessment process, carried out by the UMECIT interdisciplinary team.
Our House of Studies evidenced the educational quality, after having developed the self-evaluation process of the Career with the participation of the interdisciplinary team that develops the academic-administrative management at UMECIT.
The self-assessment report was evaluated by external peers in the visit carried out during the period from March 7 to 9, 2024, concluding accreditation of the Physiotherapy degree.
This moment reinforces our commitment to educational quality in Panama. Dr. José Alberto Nieto Rojas, rector of UMECIT, has highlighted the importance of continuous improvement processes and thanks the dedicated accreditation team for their work.
This success drives us to further raise our quality standards in higher education. Our next challenge includes the accreditation of the Occupational Health and Safety program.
Let's continue moving forward together toward excellence!
