IMMUNE Technology Institute and UMECIT come together to launch a new master's degree in Data Science & Business Analytics

• With this master's degree, students and professionals will be able to learn the techniques,
  most demanded strategies and tools, as well as the importance of the use of data and its interpretation, the development of artificial intelligence or the concept of "data science".
• The program is taught online and lasts for 18 months.

The Metropolitan University of Education, Science and Technology, with headquarters located in Panama City, and IMMUNE Technology Institute, the leading technological training hub in Spain, launch the new master's degree in Data Science & Business Analytics with a specialization in business intelligence.

Currently, it is estimated that 5 out of every 20 published job offers demand expert profiles in Data Science and the demand for Data Science professionals is expected to grow by 54% until 2030. Likewise, according to data provided by the international consultancy IDC, in America In Latin America and the Caribbean, an additional 2.5 million ICT-related professionals will be needed by 2026, and the demand for new emerging roles geared towards digital businesses will grow faster than that for traditional IT jobs.

With this agreement, IMMUNE Technology Institute and UMECIT intend to address this growth in the technological employment market, training professionals in the sector and discovering technological talent anywhere in the world. The objective of the new training program is the creation of professionals prepared to adapt to the needs of the technological world of work, being capable of making the best business decisions based on data.

This master's degree, directed by computer engineer Ana Patricia García Guerrero, It will be taught online and will last 18 months. Through the five quarters into which it is divided, students will be able to learn the most demanded techniques, strategies and tools within the sector, such as the importance of using data and its interpretation, the principles and benefits of business intelligence, the development of artificial intelligence or the concept of "data science", as well as its relationship with other disciplines, its methods and its practical application.
