Umecit – University in Panama

Scientific Spirit Award

The Research, Innovation and Postgraduate Department and the Research and Innovation Center invite all UMECIT research teachers to participate in the annual meeting of researchers, where the recognition of research work will be carried out during the year 2022

The institutional mission of UMECIT defines among its central elements the promotion of a research culture. In this sense, the participation of teachers, as leaders of the investigative processes that are developed in our House of Studies, within the framework of the calls for project registration, has been essential so that we can meet needs and provide solutions to the problems that currently demands the environment.

As a University we have assumed the challenge and the commitment, motivating our teachers to be linked to research and make it part of their daily work; in addition to accompanying and guiding them in the face of the important opportunity to generate impact from research, in the various areas of knowledge, which serve a total of forty projects that we currently have underway, under the responsibility of teachers, students and graduates of the various faculties and modalities of study; many of which are developed within the framework of the inter-institutional agreements signed, of a national and international nature.

"We could not close such a special year for UMECIT, where we have been ratified as a high-quality institution, without recognizing our teachers as protagonists and architects in the face of this responsibility and institutional social commitment from research."

For this reason, the Research, Innovation and Postgraduate Department, the Research and Innovation Center and the Research and Postgraduate Coordinations of our headquarters invite all UMECIT research professors to the Annual Meeting of Researchers, where recognition will be given to the research work during the year 2022.

The event will take place at the Fundadores headquarters, Paraninfo Claudia Rueda:
