Our House of Studies held the Conversation of Law 280 of December 30, 2021 “CPA Law”, in which students from the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences of the Bachelor of Accounting participated, linked within the subject Standards and audit procedures, with Professor Alvaro Mendez.

It is of utmost importance that the Accounting student remains constantly updated because the accountant currently must know and understand the laws that regulate them when beginning to develop the profession in the work field.

Within the framework of the event, the accountant's profession was discussed at the time he becomes qualified before the Technical Accounting Board, the meaning of being a CPA and even more so giving public attestation every time a financial document is endorsed for a third party and the implications in sanctions, which can be from mild to serious (definitive cancellation of suitability) that lead to not carrying them out adequately.
