19 years have passed since July 21, 2004, where the foundations for the emergence of our educational institution were established through the resolution of Executive Decree No. 575, by the National Council for University Evaluation and Accreditation of Panama, who subsequently, granted accreditation through Resolution No. 15 of October 31, 2012, which confirmed the quality and compliance with established standards.
Throughout these 19 years, UMECIT has positioned itself as a benchmark of commitment to quality education in Panama, by offering academic programs in flexible modalities, eliminating geographical barriers and allowing students from various parts of the region to access a quality education. quality. This has opened opportunities for those who might otherwise have had difficulty pursuing higher education due to time or location limitations.
