Social Work students participate in a solidarity day as part of UMECIT's Good Deeds

Within the framework of Good Deeds and reaffirming the institutional commitment to social responsibility, first-year students of the Social Work career, group A-A2026 S, participated in a high social impact initiative on April 18.

The students actively participated in volunteering Hands that Transform UMECIT, collaborating in the Cremalatón organized by the Club Activo 20-30 Las Cumbres, a day focused on the collection of creams and personal care items intended for patients facing complex medical treatments.

This experience strengthens their academic training through practice, while promoting essential values such as empathy, social responsibility, and collaborative work.

The participation of our students reflects UMECIT's active role in building a more humane and supportive society, demonstrating the transformative impact of university volunteering.
