Discussion: Getting to know the UAF

With the purpose of publicizing the functions performed by the Unit of Financial Analysis (UAF), directed by Magister Isabel Pérez Henríquez, will be carrying out this training day, the which is aimed at professionals in charge of compliance with the Law 23 of April 27, 2015, lawyers, students and the general public.

The Financial Analysis Unit, is the national center for the collection and analysis of financial information related to the crimes of money laundering, financing of terrorism and financing of the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction, as well as as well as for the communication of the results of this analysis to the authorities of investigation and repression of the country.

It is a state security entity, of an administrative nature, with functional and budgetary autonomy attached to the Ministry of Presidency in order to comply with the provisions of Law 23 of April 27 of 2015.

It has financial, human and technical resources that guarantee its operational independence in the performance of its functions analysis and management of intelligence information. Taking into account the above, our House of Studies and the UAF unite efforts in order to contribute to teaching in the prevention of Money Laundering, Financing of Terrorism and the Financing of the Proliferation of Weapons of Mass Destruction.
