Framework agreement for inter-institutional collaboration between UTESA and UMECIT
In the framework of the 4th. International Research and Postgraduate Congress, the signing of the Collaboration Agreement was carried out between the Technological University of Santiago -UTESA- of the Dominican Republic and the Metropolitan University of Education, Science and Technology -UMECIT-.
This agreement represents a valuable alliance between two outstanding higher education institutions, focused on the generation of knowledge, research and training of competent and ethical professionals.
Both universities come together to carry out joint programs, exchanges of professionals and specialists, research projects, training, among many other actions that will enrich our academic communities.
The collaboration between UTESA and UMECIT will allow us to enhance academic and scientific development for the benefit of our countries and society in general.
UTESA, a prominent higher education institution, focuses on promoting the generation, transfer and dissemination of knowledge based on science, technology and research. Its objective is to provide broad higher education opportunities to people with aspirations for personal and professional improvement, training professionals and technicians with moral and intellectual aptitude to contribute to the development of society.
UMECIT, a prestigious higher education institution, has the mission of training competent, critical, reflective and ethical professionals, scientists, humanists and academics, committed to the development of the State and the country. With accreditations and certifications in educational quality, UMECIT provides scientific and humanistic higher education, adapting its plans and programs to the needs of the Panamanian social reality.
This collaboration agreement between both universities seeks to promote cooperation in various academic and research fields. Among the joint actions to be developed, the following stand out:
