Mirror Class between UMECIT and USTA strengthens international academic integration in Kinesiology

The Metropolitan University of Education, Science and Technology -UMECIT-, in conjunction with the Santo Tomás University (USTA), successfully developed an outstanding mirror class in the area of Kinesiology, consolidating scenarios of international academic cooperation and disciplinary strengthening in the field of Physical Education and Sport.

The academic activity, held last Friday, April 10, featured the participation of teacher Eliza Mosquera, representing UMECIT, and Professor Juan Moreno, representing USTA, who led this space for academic exchange, fostering a high-level pedagogical dialogue between both institutions.

From an academic perspective, the mirror classroom is established as an innovative teaching strategy that allows for the convergence of knowledge, methodologies, and research approaches in international contexts, fostering the development of global competencies in students. In this sense, the workshop facilitated the integration of Kinesiology content, addressed from contemporary perspectives that connect theory with practice, in accordance with the principles of holistic education and the social relevance of knowledge.
