As part of its commitment to academic excellence and the ongoing updating of its programs, the Occupational Safety and Health program held a hybrid training day for its faculty, focused on the official handover and technical induction of new industrial hygiene equipment.

During the session, both in-person and virtual faculty received specialized training on the operation, calibration, and maintenance of instruments used to measure physical and chemical agents. This training will standardize equipment usage procedures, strengthen the technical skills of the academic team, and ensure the correct application of assessment methodologies in the classroom.

The incorporation of this equipment represents an important advance for the development of laboratory and field practices, by offering students the opportunity to learn with state-of-the-art technology and under conditions similar to those they will find in professional practice.

With this initiative, the program strengthens practical training in Occupational Safety and Health, promoting more innovative learning experiences aligned with the discipline's technical standards.
