Our UMECIT University reaffirms its commitment to the integral development of its students through the promotion of sports, discipline and teamwork.

In an exemplary demonstration of tenacity and competitiveness, the representative team of our institution has been proclaimed Undefeated Champion of the Panama 5's League in the Liga U category, after defeating the Technological University of Panama (UTP) in a memorable final held at the Emilio Royo Stadium.

The final match concluded with a close score of 33-32, reflecting the high level of skill, tactical preparation, and resilience of our athletes. Throughout the tournament, the university team maintained an impeccable performance, remaining undefeated. They showcased high-impact collective and individual plays led by athletes such as Aimar Soto, Erick Vallejos, Bryan Martínez, Thais Zúñiga, and Kenneth Gavidia, supported by a solid defensive effort in every quarter.

This triumph transcends the sporting arena; it is the tangible result of the daily application of our institutional values: discipline, leadership, a spirit of self-improvement, and teamwork. We extend our special congratulations to all the student-athletes, coaching staff, and support personnel who made this academic and athletic milestone possible.

Our institution will continue to foster spaces where academic excellence converges with the physical and personal development of our future professionals, forming leaders capable of achieving success inside and outside the classroom.

We continue to build a sporting culture where talent, preparation and
sense of belonging move forward in the same direction.

Congratulations to our champions!
