Emotional event on the 3rd Anniversary of the Panama University Quarantine

Within the framework of the Celebration of the 503 years of the Panama La Vieja Foundation, a colorful, emotional and sound event was held in the Auditorium of the Metropolitan University of Education, Science and Technology - UMECIT- to commemorate the 3rd Anniversary of the University Quarantine of Panama.

Last Saturday, August 13, in our House of Studies, in partnership with UNESCA, the 3rd Anniversary of the University Quarantine of Panama was celebrated for the first time in person, with the participation of the Tunas of the University of Panama Federico García Vallejo , Tuna de Egresados del Colegio La Salle, as International guests Tuna Ilusiones de Facatativá of Colombia @tuna_ilusiones.

Likewise, the Folkloric Group "Aires y Tradiciones de Panamá" was present, who performed native dances of the region, where elegance, majesty, color and national pride were rewarded by the spectators with great applause for these young people who proudly live their folklore.

Giving full coverage to this imposing and traditional culture, the young Ernesto Ignacio Ríos Guerrero, who is the winner of the Oratory Contest, was present from UNESCA, where with splendid eloquence he gave us a tour of the history of the Panama City Foundation. , this purpose of coinciding with the celebration of the 503 years of Panama la Vieja.

The event was attended by academic, extension and university welfare authorities from both universities. In the same way, there was a live connection with Chile, Spain, Colombia, Argentina, Costa Rica and Mexico, who were able to enjoy the sublime event thanks to virtuality.
