International webinar marks the official launch of UMECIT's first postdoctoral fellowships
UMECIT continues to consolidate its academic leadership and international projection with the official launch of its first postdoctoral programs, an institutional milestone that strengthens advanced research and high-level training.
The new programs are:
- Postdoctoral fellowship in Intelligent Education for the knowledge society: AI applied to education.
- Postdoctoral studies in disruptive leadership and strategic management.
Within the framework of this presentation, the International Webinar “AI, education and the leaders the world needs. How organizations and educational systems are transforming in the digital age” will take place, a space designed to open the registration and enrollment process for participants from any country, in a completely virtual format.

UMECIT will feature the participation of Dr. Luis Eduardo Peláez Valencia, an academic and researcher with more than 25 years of experience in higher education, information technologies, quality assurance and innovation.
Dr. Peláez has served as Academic Vice-Rector, Director of Research and Innovation, and is a national and international peer evaluator. He holds two doctorates: one in Project Management and another in Software Engineering. His experience and scientific output position him as a leading Latin American figure in digital transformation and the future of education.
