Last Saturday, March 4, students from the La Chorrera Campus, belonging to the AA-2021 SCHO Group of the General Psychology Degree, had the opportunity to make a valuable educational visit to the Metropolitan Natural Park accompanied by the teacher Marco Pitti.
The pedagogical visit to the Park was a valuable and enriching experience for his academic training, since the main objective was the application of psychological techniques for the treatment of patients, through field workshops focused on promoting attitudes towards the care, preservation and use of environmental elements, was fulfilled.
In addition, it was sought to establish the relationship between psychological evaluation and environmental therapies, as well as to achieve the interaction between Public Health, Environmental Psychology and Quality of Life.
This activity allowed students to acquire knowledge and practical skills for the development of their professional career, while contributing to promoting environmental awareness and care for the natural environment.
In summary, the pedagogical visit to the Metropolitan Natural Park turned out to be a valuable opportunity for Psychology students, who were able to apply their theoretical knowledge in a real and relevant context, while contributing to the preservation and care of the environment.
