The integration between academia, outreach and governance is essential for the comprehensive training of our future professionals. This synergy ensures that students not only acquire theoretical knowledge, but also develop the practical, ethical and civic skills necessary to face real-world challenges.
By connecting academia with outreach and governance, students are given the opportunity to apply what they have learned in real-world contexts, strengthening their ability to solve problems and make informed decisions. This interaction goes beyond the technical, fostering values such as social responsibility, civic engagement and environmental awareness, all of which are essential for building a more just and sustainable future.
Along these lines, our students, accompanied by Professor Aixa Vargas, Academic Coordinator of the Faculty of Technology, Construction and Environment, participated in the training offered by the Ministry of Labor and Labor Development (MITRADEL), entitled "Technological Youth and Development of New Opportunities." This event, held at the Latin University of Panama, is another example of how the effective link between academia and governance enriches the training of our students, preparing them to contribute significantly to the development of our society.
